A new silicone sponge called MDSR (Metal Detecting Silicone Rubber) has been launched. Metal is contained in the silicon sponge, and it has the property of detecting a metal reaction when a metal detector is brought close to it. We sell under the brand name "KINZO".

KINZO product introduction

KIN in KINZO is from the word ‘metal (Kinzoku)’, and we named it KINZO with a sense of humanity. You might imagine the talent of Kinzo Sakura, but it has nothing to do with it. Below, we will proceed with the introduction by calling the new material silicon sponge KINZO.

Applicable to packing used in food production lines

 

KINZO can be used as a packing to connect processed foods to a valve that flows into a container on a production line in a food factory. The material complies with the Food Sanitation Law (Ministry of Health and Welfare Notification No. 370).

 The packing is a consumable item, and the material deteriorates over the years. Therefore, it must be replaced with a new one regularly. If you neglect to replace the packing due to improper maintenance, the silicone sponge may become debris and chip off from the attached valve. Since the debris is small, it cannot be visually confirmed if it enters the container together with the ingredients. As a result, foods containing contamination are shipped without knowing.

 Therefore, if you make the packing with KINZO, you will be able to prevent contamination from entering. Suppose the packing made with KINZO is chipped off and the debris enters the food container. At this time, if a metal detector is installed and operated in the middle of the production line, it will react and sound an alarm when a container containing KINZO debris passes through. After that, if you find the corresponding container, you can eliminatet.

When using KINZO to prevent contamination from entering, metal food containers such as canned foods cannot be used. This is because the metal detector installed on the line will always react. Please keep in mind that it can be used only for containers such as plastic and Styrofoam.

Therefore, taking advantage of heat resistance, we can manufacture an original heat-insulating jacket-integrated heater made by processing our silicone rubber heater and KINZO into the desired shape.

 When heating from the side using a large heat-resistant plastic container on a production line that requires strict hygiene control such as food, an insulating jacket is used to prevent burns during transport and transfer. At this time, if the insulation jacket is damaged, the small pieces may get mixed in other containers. We believe that a heater with an integrated heat insulating jacket that can solve these problems is significant in development and manufacturing.
